Coined the “Innovation District,” the Seaport District of South Boston is emerging as Boston’s newest neighborhood. Already home to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the Institute for Contemporary Art, additional planned development for the district include residential, office, retail and hotel buildings, many of which are underway or completed.
